Zach’s treatment philosophy centers on genuine patient connection and a holistic approach that integrates cognitive, physical, and spiritual well-being. By combining active engagement, corrective movement integration, manual therapy, and education, he empowers clients to progress from foundational recovery to peak performance. His approach is grounded in the restorative power of movement, the psychology of injury, and the empowerment of understanding your rehabilitative process.
Zach earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Montana in 2013.
He began his career at Deaconess Medical Center in Spokane, WA, where he spent 3 years in acute and subacute care, gaining extensive experience with multi-trauma, orthopedic and post-surgical rehabilitation. He then joined North Idaho Physical Therapy/Bioperformance Institute in Coeur d’Alane, ID, where he served for nine years
– four of those as Clinic Director.
In early 2025, Zach relocated to Bend, where he has embraced the opportunity to connect with the local community and serve the people in Central Oregon. He feels privileged to guide individuals in returning to their optimal lifestyle – helping them rebuild confidence, movement, and wellness through thoughtful, evidence based care.
Originally from Montana, Zach has always felt at home in the outdoors. He enjoys camping, hiking, mountain biking, snowboarding, and unwinding by a body of water. A lifelong athlete, he played collegiate basketball for Carroll College. Off the court, he channels his creativity into wood working and gardening – even earning the title of 2018
North Idaho Fair Floral Grand Champion.
